IT Can Help stands for Information Technology
Can Help.
The purpose of IT Can Help is to offer computer assistance to
individuals with disabilities by providing volunteers who will
visit disabled people in their homes and at other locations such
as day centres.
Since its establishment, the Network has been providing disabled
people with effective Information Technology solutions. In the
past two years alone, IT Can Help has made over 2,000 visits,
solving many hardware and software problems, as well as helping
people to gain confidence using a computer. The service is built
around a network of skilled volunteers who are prepared to offer
disabled people free, computer assistance. Everyone involved in
the Network is a volunteer and it has over 250 volunteers, covering
over 50 UK counties.
IT Adviser is a member of Buy Local.
The buy local
scheme, as the name suggests, is here to encourage growth and
stability in the local Norfolk economy. There are huge benefits
for all of us in sourcing goods and services from local suppliers
wherever possible. By supporting one another, we increase the
amount of money available for companies to purchase further local
services - a really smart way of working.
Businesses
all over Norfolk are waking up to the benefits of sourcing locally.
Take the time to look around this site and see how it might benefit
you.
We also work
with, and can recommend other local businesses.
